If you need a meeting, make sure you define a strong objective before sending that invite.
A solid objective includes three things: the action you want, the results you expect, and any qualifiers that define success.
Here’s an example: Instead of using, “Discuss project status,” try using, “Identify and rank the top three risks to project delivery by the end of the meeting.”
