Meet Our Master Trainers
Greetings from “The City of Angels!” I’m Melissa Grey Satterfield, a native of Las Vegas, now residing in the greater Los Angeles area. I am proud to be a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I studied broadcast communications.
During my college years, and for a few years beyond, I worked as an on-air personality for several radio and TV stations in Las Vegas. I’ve always been a bit of a performer, which is probably why training is such a good fit for me. While studying at UNLV, I often dreamed of moving to sunny Los Angeles—and now, here I am!
Hi there! I’m Alan Magnan, a Canadian-born-and-raised course leader with Langevin Learning Services. I grew up in and around the Ottawa area where I studied business administration in college.
I started my career in the telecommunications industry in 1988, then moved on to a software company in 1990. I had the opportunity to conduct training in both industries.
Hi everyone. I’m Marsha Weisleder, a born-and-bred Torontonian (yes, some of us do exist) and I’ve lived in Toronto, Canada most of my life.
I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in January 2015. No, not because of the weather or a desire to be a southern belle…you see, I fell in love and married an American. Very exciting! All of my schooling was done in Toronto. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, I attended Osgoode Hall Law School. I graduated in 1991 and was called to the Bar in 1993.
Hello, I am Steve Flanagan. (Only my mother calls me Stephen.) I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada with my family when I was 12 years old. I currently live in Toronto.
As a senior instructor with Langevin Learning Services, I enjoy a variety of duties but mostly enjoy conducting our excellent workshops in fantastic locations throughout the world.
Hello from sunny Orlando, Florida! I’m Dawn Lang. I grew up in the Midwest and lived in Colorado before moving to Florida. My passion for teaching started in third grade and I’ve never looked back!
As an educator, technology trainer, instructional designer, and facilitator/producer of virtual training, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders in all different contexts to support their learning and application of skills and knowledge.
Hello from Washington, DC! I am Beth Brashear. I was born outside of Pittsburgh but spent the majority of my youth in Charles Town, WV. I have lived in the DC area for the last 15 years and absolutely love our Nation’s Capital!
My training career started in 2006 and I haven’t looked back! My experience includes being a training instructor and a training manager, along with having my Master Trainer certification and Training & Development Diploma from Langevin.
Meet Our Virtual Classroom Producers
Hello everyone, I’m Allie Andrusiak. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, spent some time in “America’s Finest City,” San Diego, CA, and am now back in Ottawa. After graduating high school, I attended Algonquin College to study Police Foundations, then continued on to complete my B.A. in Psychology at Carleton University in Ottawa.
My career with Langevin began in 2008 as a Client Service Representative. In 2014, I switched gears and was welcomed to our Marketing team where I continue to work part-time.
Hi there, I’m Adam Langevin. I was born in Ottawa, Canada, studied Police Foundations in the area, and still call it home.
I started with Langevin in 2014 as a Virtual Classroom Producer and love working in the classroom. Helping our clients and learning they’ve achieved success in their careers is very fulfilling. In 2017, I had the opportunity to work on the design of a new workshop with our Product Development team.
Hello there, I’m Sana Rahim. I’m from Ottawa, Ontario and lucky enough to still be living in Canada’s lovely capital. I attended the University of Ottawa to study sociology and then attended Herzing College for paralegal studies.
I started working with Langevin in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant. It’s been such a pleasure to get to know the team and the instructional design process. The passion for learning is always palpable and I couldn’t help but be inspired each and every day.
Hi, I’m Meghan Harper. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, I moved to Toronto in 2012 to study Film Production at York University and am proud to call Toronto my home.
I began working with Langevin in the summer of 2020. After spending four years in restaurant administration and guest services, I was thrilled for the opportunity to pivot my skills into the role of Virtual Classroom Producer.
I look forward to helping our learners reach their goals in and out of the virtual classroom.
Hello from Ottawa, Canada! I’m Isobel Adams and am originally from Stratford, Ontario—the Shakespeare capital of Canada. Not surprisingly, given my upbringing, I have an Arts Degree in Drama from Queen’s University in Kingston and a Diploma in Interior Design from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Despite my artsy education, most of my professional career has been focused on customer service. My true people-person nature won out! Since 2015 I’ve had the pleasure of working as a Client Service Representative helping clients with their professional development paths.
Hi there, I’m Kandace Mathieu. I’m from Ottawa, Ontario, where I graduated from the Baking and Pastry Arts program at Algonquin College. I’ve moved around a lot, but finally settled in the little village of Chapeau, Quebec.
I started with Langevin in 2018 as a Marketing Coordinator. I really enjoyed this role as I was able to experience a behind-the-scenes view of the company and better understand all that Langevin has to offer. In 2020, I was offered (and happily accepted!) the chance to become a Virtual Classroom Producer.
